hes saying the kit hull will be wood and pre assesmblled with motors ..props and rudders fitted ..
and then the rest of the deck a kit of parts ..

now i know know mike for sever 10's of years and hes a fab model maker ..

Hi Iain Havnt got a clue as to the cost of a kit ,it would depend on whats in the kit ,wil there be all the details cast parts such as hand rails, doors, hatchs.guns E.C.T. The more in the kit the higher the cost.
But here is one you dont have to build RTR its not cheap But a very nice model .http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rc-landing-craft- ... 19bd1e2311" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Make your own I would say. They are a very easy style of boat to build and there was as many different models as the Sherman had. Hardly any two LCU's were the same. :thumbup:

I can fit a Centurion, M113, and a Bull Dog on mine, not much room left when the ramp is up :shifty:

I'd certainly be interested. I have no idea what it should cost though, and i'd want to see one.

It would be nice to have one if the price is right.

Now thats a good price. :thumbup: I'm sure the detail can be scratched by us. I'd definitely be interested.

Do you have any rough dimensions Iain? I'd need to know if I could actually fit it anywhere, lol.

hi there rik

i know the deck for the tanks is 10 inches wide and 25 inches long ..

i have a link to mikes website ..but he has not pit any pics up yet as hes building a second one already

and has two more on order ... it is a proper model .. not a semi scale kit ...

have a look at his site .. the models are just superb ... and he also has a his own very extensive range of detial parts
