Hi, I have gotten the early KV-2 turret from juckenburg store on e-bay and he was great to deal with. The kit is built like a tank. Those of you wanting weight for slowing the tank down won't be disappointed. It probably weighs about the quarter of the tank or more. You will need skills above my level to attach all the gun and mounts and rotation to it. I have my at Phil's at RC Tankwars having it installed. (by the way Phil is a great guy to work with, the best). Good detail but has a lot of work to do it, like cutting out the base plate to run wires and get the weight down. You can shoot it with a 22 rifle and I bet it would hold up to it. The barrel is an issue as it is solid and needs to be drilled out for the light and the issue of the gun not recoiling as it is solid also. That's why Phil's got mine right now. Very much an advanced build from my view from my skill level. Anyway that's my quick take on it. Hope this helps. Shotgun

Your welcome, I think you shouldn't have a problem, from what I see on this site with the incredible builds being done most you guys, you will do well with the kit. If your someone just starting out such as myself it's a little daunting task to start out with with your first tank build. He has two versions the last time I looked for the KV-2 early and late and a KV-85 also. Take care Shotgun
