Non S&S PanzerIII, require variable speed. Please help.

Post by drdave »

Hello all, I'm not serious about RC tanks though I've enjoyed looking at some of the projects on this forum, I've got a few 1/10 cars that I havn't run for years and I spend most time painting Flames of War tanks and other wargames. Anyway....

I bought a non-smoking Panzer III for an absolute steal with the sole intent on having a laugh while I sit in the garden. It runs really well, I never wanted the sound or the smoke but I wouldn't mind variable speed, what can I do/buy to fix this? and am I right in thinking Smoke and sound versions have variable speed?

Please reply thank you, Dave.

Would it be hard to swap the parts over from another tank?

not sure how much a s+s upgrade kit will cost try giving dave forgebear a pm here he will sort you out with a price i think they were about £30-£40 last time i bought one

and yes with care you can swap the electrics from another s+s tank to a non S+S tank

what youll need is a tx a rx and a main board either rx14 or rx18
