Looking a getting a set of Mato Metal tracks for my Heng Long Stug III any word on there quality?Is it just a straight swap out with the plastic ones any will any other mods have to be done.

They're ok, but you should keep an eye on the track pins as they tend to come loose really easily. They should come with metal idlers and drive sprockets, after fitting these you are done.

Hi mate same as Marts comment mate . I have Mato tracks on my Pantiger conversion , Its not run much yet but there ok so far . I used Impact on my Stug III purley as I wanted cleated tracks to match the model I was making . I did get them at a good price tho.

Hi Martin used metal tracks on both Panzer III and Panzer IV chassis and provided you have metal drive and idler wheels there should be no problems. However I have fitted the metal track adjusters on both tub's to prevent the reported track throwing that some have experienced. Hope this helps.

Oh sorry forgot to say . I also have the Mato metal drive sprockets and idlers . The tank has standard gears but they are metal . I also made my own track adjuster .
