Hi Guys
I bought a H L KV1s yesterday, sat there putting the few extras on it that it came with and topped the smoke oil as per instructions including leaving it overnight at approx 45* angle
the problem now stems, when you start up the tank on the flat the smoke unit buzzes and lets out a small draught from the exhaust but thats it and if i put the rear up around 45* it starts to make a gurgling sound
is there a common fix for this or do i now have a non smoker?
Many Thanks in advance
Aaron

Re: non smoking smoker
hi Aaron
sounds like to much oil in the smoke unit if its flooded then it wont smoke they can be a pain two things you can do take the tank apart and see if it is a removable smoke top unit with 4 small black screws and then you can dry it out or leave it and have no smoke
only do this if you can safley take your tank apart and put it back together again
thanks dave

Re: non smoking smoker
ok,thanks for that
I dont really fancy taking apart a brand new toy so i will leave it as it is for a while,im bound to break/upgrade something in the near future so i will sort it then

Re: non smoking smoker
Most of us bin the smoker, and conserve the battery for a longer run time

Re: non smoking smoker
Thanks for that piece of advice,i was considering not using it anyway but removing it may help balance my tank as it tends to be rear heavy on crests of climbes etc

Re: non smoking smoker
Some add weight to the front to balance the KV-1 cause all the weight is all in the rear .
