a Sherman suspension question...
It seems in any post that every tanker that wants HL to put out a Sherman wants it to be with the VVSS suspension. Is this because of a flaw in the other suspension type that is on the Sherman, or is it because Tamiya has already flooded the market with that version of the Sherman?

yes, i think perople would like to have the choice of susspension rather than have to mod it themsleves, personally i think VVSS would be great on the hl, because that would mean slightly easier converting on firefly's!!

i think myself, that the reason most people(me included) want vvss suspension is that there would be more scope to model a particular model of sherman, i think the vvss suspension was used on more variations of the sherman than hvss or whatever its called

Hi,
I suspect Kellys Heroes has a lot to do with requests for a VVSS Sherman.

a sherman would be ok, but a churchhill would be better i think.

Oz- "a sherman would be ok, but a churchhill would be better i think"
I agree with that- the Churchill is such a unique looking tank- what with its squat low boxy profile it is the antithisis of the Sherman- yet they both were invaluable! I do not know what it is about the Churchill, but it scares me....sort of like a tank on steroids- especially if they have the dust shields removed!
