This is a very interesting modification,I wonder if the complete firing operation could be designed for single button firing,I mean tank recoil,barrel recoil,airsoft firing? All without joystick movement? But probably easier with to accomplish with an after market radio system,but I do like your modification,and it allows easier operation of those functions which we all know just sucks on the standard transmitter lay-out. I have done this with all my tamiya tanks, one button each side on the underside of the controller, one for machine gun and one for main gun. A while since I did it but involves soldering wires onto the trimmer pots. Found the tip on the WEB, if anyone is interested in doing it, I will try to find the info and post it.
