i,m busy drawing up some plans to convert the PzIII to a SIG33 it seems none too hard to make the barrel depress and elevate using the PzIII components, but we will see.  :-\

Elevation is the easy part - traverse AND elevation is the real trick! Patton Commander posted his solution for simple elevation here:

I'm still working on a mechanism that allows for traverse as well as elevation  ???

I don't think the stug mechanism allows for traverse?
Anybody here have one? Will all the redundances we've just had it'll be a while before I get my hands on one  :(

what i,m thinking is fixing the turret mechanism  to to the turret traverse ring, or the sig33 is just one big box, so i might leave the PzIII turret in place and replace the barrel with the sig33 gun and build the superstructure around it, does that make sense. ???

I think your center of rotation will be way to far back for that to work (if I understood correctly?)

dunno actually, you could put a hl gun elevation unit sideways lol

joke, but you could use a servo? just to make it go left to right i duuno im not intelligent enough for this sorta thing lol

HI there the Stug dosnt traverse it has a spare channel was thinking of using it for a guy poping up at the  m.g.
