Since converting the 'boxes to 3 to 1 the Tiger has performed superbly
until the other Sunday when it threw the right track .
Upon examination, the only thing I could find was a lot of "float" in the RH box's
output shaft.
I haven't stripped it yet but I suspect it's the outer bearing come loose.
Can I fix it into place with epoxy resin(might as well do the LH while it's apart)?
Sure I read somewhere that epoxy wasn't ideal?
Cheers,Mark

Re: Fixing nylon g/box beartings in
Hi Mark I've used superglue to fix my HL Gearbox bearings in place. Also seen them soldered in as well. Hope this helps

I superglued 'em in to start with Alan.
Superglue(or cyano for our U.S readers)tends to be strong but brittle.
I either didn't use enough glue or the stuff I've used(supposed to be industrial)
isn't strong enough, that's why I wondered about epoxy.
