Hi all yet another newbie

Post by mikef350 »

Hi

my name is mike and i am wanting to get into rc tanks.I have been into retro tamiya and most other rc buggys, trucks etc for years but i gave up useing them around a year ago due to being into mountain bikeing also, any way after recently iching to get a rc tank i have decided to join this forum and learn more about them,i have had a tamiya persching and a new in box tamiya sherman which i never built up and looking back i could kick my self for getting rid of them.Heng long keeps catching my eye due to the price but tamiya is where my heart is so this is what i am going to be looking into and hopefully i will be able to flog my mountain bike stuff to fund a new tank which ever brand it will be.Look forward to chatting to you guys/girls :D

Welcome Mike, Good idea coming here, you will of course get all sorts of opinions on whats best and no doubt some top tips. Im pretty new here too but the guys have been really helpful and supportive and a good laugh. Personally I got into the 16th scale thing with a little HL PnzIII, in my humble opinion, the HL tanks are really worth the cash and great for starting with or as a base for upgrading.
cheers and welcome again
