Post by Steenv »

As I am going to London for at business meeting in May, I was thinking of renting a car and drive to Bovington. Har far from London is it, and what will the travel time be in a car

Steen, all I can suggest is that you google bovington tank museum and use one of the links to get directions and it will give you the time and distance to the museum from you location in London

Its quite a long trip from London to Bovington, if you have not been before have a look at the Imperial war museum in London and Duxford as well. Duxford has the land Warfare Hall and have the tanks out running some days at the back. Its not as far to travel either.

Its about 120 miles, and will take around 2.5 hours on clear roads. Plenty of parking when you get there, and it is a stunning place to go. ;)
