Hi all

Post by Gavin »

Hello all, what a great site! doe any of you know a comparable german site as that where i spend most of my time. Just thought id join i have just brought myself a Tamiya Leo 2 with the Ir battle system, from ebay its ready built, its great! Tho i didnt realise that they are just like real tanks and require lots of maint! have managed to destroy the Idler wheel on the right hand side! the nearist guide roller came off and took out the Idler! I have orded the upgraded alloy idlers off Tankzone, anyone ordered from these i have not had a confirmation email from them so will call them later anyone else dealt with them? Plus what glue should i use for glueing on the ABS so to stop this happening again? bits are coming off fast! the guy must have used normal resin glue. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum Gavin, you will read quite alot about Tank Zone on here, some good some bad, but to be honest i have never had problems with them, Kin who runs Tank Zone usually replys within a few days as he gets alot of mail  as for German sites i think this is one of the best http://www.rc-panzerketten-forum.com/wbb2/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it is in German language so i dont know if thats any good for you :/ as for keeping the tanks in good working order, thats half the fun, and where a site like this comes in handy  you should ask the question about glue in general discussion, you will get some answers from the guys then.
