this is turning out to be a awesome convertion how do you keep your work so straight :S

Hi, all the soldering of the brackets how do you keep it straight and aligned when you are soldering,if i tryed it they would end up wonky and look a mess. :(

my iron came witha stand which has croc clips on it ,about £6 from lidle, sometimes i tack hold with a drop of cyno before soldering , but mainly it involves burnt fingers, :( :haha:

not such a constructive day today, had to go to the garden centre at maidstone with the better half,BUT theres a model shop there so stocked up on more supplies, added rivets to the box, ( great tip from fynsdad ) then made the unditching beam clamps from plastic tube and strip

Looking good mate, i know how much work your putting in to this, as i have watched Frank for the last week with his Bergepanther, he's away for a few days now so you should be able to get ahead :haha: i know Frank has been using some flux with his soldering and it makes it a damn lot easier and quicker to get a good weld, especially on brass, so keep up the good work and dont forget about that KT project you got going on aswell :haha:
