sherman mods

id like to move the ariel on the back of my tam sherman to the turret, i know most of you have done this already, is it an easy job and how did you do it, also what do you use for ariel ect,
id like to get an oddball figure if anyone knows where to get one, keith you have one on your sherman dont you?

how do you move the ariel to turret?

Well what i did was drill a hole in the antenna thingy on top of the turret, then re-routed the antenna wire up through the middle of the turret with the other wires, poked it through the hole i drilled and then simply stuck the base of the antenna to the inside of the turret with a strong sticky pad and their you have it ;) oh and dont forget to remove the silly bracket from the back and throw it in the bin :thumbup:

If i was to do it again i would get rid of the spring i added at the bottom of the antenna for something more acurate, and now i have seen this pic again, it reminded me i must re-paint oddballs face :/

cheers keith, i realy like your sherman looks bloody good, id like to get a longer barrel too and a few other bits for it.
