Not cured completely, but after the length of time and money spent on the Tiger, I need a different project to work on until I can start on another tank.

My paratrooper loadout is coming along though! Got my M1911 the other day! :D

Cheers,

Very sorry to hear your interest in tanks has waned so much Rocket (and you too Rik!). You will both be missed on this forum. I experienced a similar decline at the end of last summer but it my case it was caused by the antics of certain people up here in my neck of the woods. Sharing a hobby with like-minded people can be a real buzz but it can also become a nightmare.
It was due to people on this forum that I am now back on track; not as enthusiastic as I was it must be said but I'm certainly building rc-tanks again. Whatever you decide to do with your leisure time now, rest assured that you will always have a warm welcome here if (when!) you both drop by again.
Best regards

Most of my tank stuff has been boxed up and stored for the last few months now but you never know when the bug will bite again so i'm not selling it yet. Rockets looking for the next big R/C project to sink his teeth into chaps so if anyone has any good idea's post em here.

Rik, where do you go airsofting mate? I notice you live in uxbridge so have you even been to Ambushwargames @ Eversly? Rocketman & me use to go there quite a lot until my little girl was born 2 years ago. I want to get back into it this year and i also put together a WW2 para outfit last years but i went British just to be different.

I'm only just getting started, my mates, just got me into it. I haven't got all the gear together yet. My mate wants to try and get a slot in The Mall in Reading, looks quite good.
I'm going to start with a 101st para, then do a British 6th Airborne loadout, as the nice new Stens are coming out. I've got a few bits to do basic bits to do a modern loadout as well, I need to pick up a cheap M4 for general airsoft. My primary focus is WWII though.
The Comrades in Arms guys have some good WWII events, they just did Caen in Wales, and have an Eastern Front event later this year.

I'm very new to the hobby, so I haven't been to a site yet, but hope to go soon, once, I have the rest of my loadout.

Cheers,
Rik
