Panther/Jagdpanther Spring Upgrade Help
I have just purchased a set of stronger springs for my Jagdpanther, but when i tried to fit them today they gave me loads of grief
they were really tight in the holes, and when i did get one in and fitted the arm, the arm would not return unless i pulled it down
so i had to pull it out with plyers and fit the standard ones back in
Has anybody else fitted a set of these and did you have any trouble, if so how did you get round it

Keith
I've upgraded the JP and Panther G and had the same dramas you've had. I have found the best way is to line up the new springs then screw the axle arm back on, using this to push the spring home as it tightens. I also found some went easier than others, dont know why.
Hope this helps

Re: Panther/Jagdpanther Spring Upgrade Help
all i did on mine was move the hole round by 2-3 mm using std springs this tightened up the suspension enough to stop the front end Droop
from what i saw on my springs they have made an attempt to stiffen the front and rear springs as they are thicker steel
from what your saying the I.D of the springs is less than the spigot on a few springs and daves tip would and should work well to push them into the slots over the spigot
nice tip dave thanks
