Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
Look forward to seeing it Rob, I could have had the bin lids working, but the PE hinges are very delicate and i dont think they would have lasted long
Yesterday Frank (fynsdad) was bored because he came to a stop with all his builds (for now) so i said to him if your that bored you can make me a Maybach HL 230 P30 V-12 petrol engine for my Jagdpanther, as i opened the hatch i thought it would be nice to see something other than the top of a smoker unit when open, so while i moved the speaker and smoker forward out of sight Frank made this

Great job with the Jagdpanther so far. How you guy's work with that PE stuff is beyond me. Just looking at the pictures I could feel the eye strain starting lol.

Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
Not to much to report, the build has slowed in the last couple of days, because the next part is masking for the paint job and i dont want to rush it, so i have been moving the internals around instead so the engine can fit in place, i had to move the speaker and the smoke unit forward, which involved cutting off some of the mounting blocks from the chassis and purchasing some longer tube for the smoke unit (£1.75 per metre at Pets At Home
) it all fits now so i guess i better get on with the masking
