great build , very nice detail, they are small, im making the same tool clamps for my tigerII, dropped a bit on the floor ,spent a hour trying to find it , dohhh
Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
Thanks for the photo Keith,I am not sure I have the steady hands needed for such small parts, but I will continue to watch this build with interest.excellent just excellent detail. Cheers Blake

Your Jagdpanther is looking really good Keith. Love the photo-etch work. I'm tempted to get the Panther PE set now!

Had a look today, and it is lead free solder we use with some fluxfv432 wrote:oh one other question lol are you using leaded solder or lead free?

Keith

Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
if you can get hold of leaded solder its much easier to work with on the brass
i started out on my tiger bin using unleaded solder and it was a nightmare
fantastic work keith really loving this build a lot matey

Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
Well i have been thinking about camo for a while now and i finally settled on this

But then i logged in one day and "andicog" had beat me to it with his Jagdpanther build
So the searching started again and i found this, "Splinter Camo", and i love it, so thats what it is going to be

Update, finished the tool racks now, added a spare wheel, used up the spare PE grill cover on the exhausts and added some brackets and cable for foliage if i decide to have any

Re: Jagdpanther with Anti Aircraft Armour
Did some work on the rear today, more fiddly P.E parts, a couple of them modified to look more like the pics i have, also i had some brass sheet left over so i added some lids on the bins and then added the P.E hinges to them, they dont open but they look good

REAL ONE

p.s. again i must thank fynsdad for his soldering skills
