centurion part 4 foto
Centurion project
Hi folks,
I have stared at the project for weeks and a propper method of construction never got any clearer, so I just got stuck in.
Oztruck has sent me some terific fotos to use as a guide so many thanks to him cos I wouldn't have had a clue without them.
It soon became apparent that the Pershing is a bit short to make a propper likeness, so a bit of modelers licence is needed during construction..... and viewing.
I was going to modify the upper hull, but gave up on that and scratch built one.
Lots of fotos to view....sorry about the quality of the fotos...bit of a rush with a dodgy camera but hope you enjoy them
Mike

Centurion part 2
Hi
I have had continued with the build at a rather slow rate, but here are a few fotos for you to have a look at.
The removable top deck is nearly finished. The rear area of this has been his a real pig to get rite, but I guess the trick is to know when to stop before I ruin it. I now realise that I only need to suggest some of the fittings or it will just look cluttered. The tank is about one and a half inches too short for true scale size. This becomes aparent at the front because there is not enough space to fit a propper drivers hatch.... problem!
The fender supports and tool boxes are in place on the mud guards ( or whatever they are called) so I can do the exhausts and side armour hangers next.
I have added a foto of the turret in place. You can see that the turret is about an inch too long, plus there is supposed to be about an inch gap between the deck and the underneath of the turret at the rear... a real chop shop job in front of me here.
Has anyone got a spare wheel for the Pershing that they can spare please....I will need one for the front deck...Ta
Sorry about the quality of the fotos....I'm not to good with a camera either.
Enjoy Mike
