1/6 SCALE F.O.A.TANKS

Hello ALL,I WAS ON E-BAY UK today and notice the the F.O.A.Metal tank kits are way over priced for some reason,I don't fully understand your V.A.T.other than iT sucks,but I have a post In general discussion about a Phone call I made to STEEL DRAGON in Florida,I spoke with Richard and these guy's are great to talk with and all about tanks.No other product but tanks.They are adding new 1/6 scale stuff all the time,fine quality but not over priced.So if your thinking about a 1/6 scale kit that can be made into a R/C tank check out these guy's.Cheers Blake http://www.steeldragons.net/Indexopen.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank-you Stew very helpful.and the same situation here,taxes never go down. Rob,the F.O.A.Tanks will be under a store name which is Modelers Paradise.Their prices are way to high.The tanks are available from STEEL DRAGONS for much less.I am trying to work out a forum members Discount with Richard@Steel Dragons.I will be calling him today to discuss this idea.That is why I need the V.A.T.information. Unless Steel Dragon is VAT registered in the UK he wont have to worry about it, the nasty custom and excise people will do their upmost to screw it out of us here at 17.5% of the total price including postage + a £8-£12 admin fee from the courier and pass it on to HMRC to fund our MP's expenses etc...

I hope that helps, as for the local tax's in the USA I've no idea

Hi Blake,

I couldn't agree with you more. The FOA line of tanks are far more practical and provide many opportunities for enhancement etc. We do not charge VAT and will work with club members if they desire an installment payment plan that better suits their budget and does not attract suspicion from watchful spouses.

This was in response to me asking Richard about discount and deals for Forum members,these F.O.A.tank kits have come a long way.I see these kits as the answer to the more expensive tanks as Heng-Long has been as it relates to Tamiya.Also I find that the staff at Steel Dragons are very tank minded and continue to develop more detail parts for these kits.Let me know what you guy's think? All of these kits are well under a thousand dollars,most are less than full option Tamiya kits. Cheers everybody,Blake
