Yikes!!! That's CD's turret mod? Oh man. They are a really nice place to deal with and very helpful. They won't give you a new unit?

They have promised me the first new system,They have had some trouble releasing the new system.I sent the original system back twice but each time their were problems,They have kept in touch and I am waiting for the new gun system.I'ts a paintball firing gun at 4xfps of the stock gun.with recoil.Their was a post about a mid-Feb.release date so hopefully they will be providing a new system soon. I just wanted to share the experience with you, many have had problem's but your tracking issue is diffidently a real odd situation. Blake

Blake, I really do sympathize with the gun situation. It's hard to spend hard earned money on something and have issues , even if the vendor is helpful. It seems that it's the story of my life that absolutely nothing comes easy. This track issue is making me crazy because my job is to troubleshoot problems and fix them...here I am with a rc tank that I can't seem to fix....

Yellow: Just ran my HL PIII down the hall. It pulls to left noticeably after about 6 feet and needs constant correction for longer runs...

Never noticed it out in the yard..

SAx: Ouch!
Smoke out of exhaust = OK
Smoke out of turret = Rut Row

LOL, yes indeed scooby doo. I just finished mounting the switch for the Pz III and I think I am done with it now. I am going to use it for one more test of a smoke unit and then it's for sale. It is driveable for sure, just that it aggravates me that I can't fix the trim adjustment issue. If I kept it, I'd put a full Tamiya electronics package from a PzIV...That would probably be the best bet.

I can relate,20years conveyor systems manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. And always under pressure to get it built, installed, and running. On call 24-7 if Murphies law applied it applied to me.And near the end it was the union that put us out of work, just a mess.Well these tanks are a hobby, what we do to relax.I am not reaping the benefit of relaxing. But it has been interesting,I've met many people and over all even with the problems it''s been satisfying.I would really like to have the new gun system before I start work on the Jagdpanther,I have been researching the unit but find little information.Well do post if and when the cause of the problem is discovered. And don't give up,it's got to be something that has been overlooked,or it's a ghost.Cheers Blake

I will definitely post if I find a fix, but at this point I am just thinking about leaving it alone. I don't really know what more I can do. I know how you feel. I find some of the hobby a bit frustrating, but overall it is very much enjoyable and satisfying. I have always loved armored vehicles and only recently found that these little tanks even exist. I hope to have something to contribute in the future for this hobby...I'd like to help others with builds and fixes.

this is getting to me , so you must be pulling your hair out ,ive been giving my pIII runs along the floor and the only way i can get it to pull one side is when the track jumps the idler gear, then it acts like yours , but youve iliminated that , sorry running out of ideas , still it gives me a reason to play

LOL, yes I am going to be a bald man when all is said and done. I have eliminated the tracks walking off the idler...actually this tank never had that problem.
