Re: Hooben ELEFANT!
Am I the only one on here who can't understand all the excitement over these tanks?
The Elefant was overcomplicated, unreliable, irelevant and a total failure on the battlefield.
The Maus - who are we kidding, a ridiculous monument to the Nazis belief that super weapons would win them the war.
And finally, the E100, as above, but it never even got beyond a partially built chassis.

Re: Hooben ELEFANT!
I agree w/ Recoil. Certainly not a tank to win wars....but to me it is a very interesting technological(diesel generator electric drive) and artistic piece (the art of excess) and much better looking IMHO that the other porsche hull fiascos...
The Hooben model looks great and would certainly add it to my shelf in a second.....and it won't cost 5000$
Preemptive strike to Tamiya??
You can click on our site on "News Blog" and see the pics too.

I would like the MAUS If it's not a fortune,it is just so excessive, big, over armored, and so end of war super weapon. If Speer had not become armaments Minister more of these unique weapon may have been produced. He new what would work and what could be produced. Blake

hi all
no one seems to have any idea of the prices yet ..
but i have seen the t55 at almost $300 usd as a kit with out the ellectronics ?
so i guess ithere e-100 maus or elephant will cost a lot ..
dont forget hoobens are a small company and the cost will reflect that ..
