Centurion 1:16 Scratch built

Post by chris3 »

hello
some frinds and me are going to create a Centurion tank scratch built.
The plan is, using. panther track, m26, road weels, maybe m26 turet...
the hull should be build in 3mm poly.

but at the moment i dont have much information about the centurion.
i knew he was disined at the end of the war to get a tanke against german tigers and king tigers, but he saw no combat during the war.

my question is. Is he still in use?
what variants do you prefer?
what variant is this????
Image

do you guys have any informations about which could help me to desine it?

this is my next projeckt after i finisch my e-100.

Hi Take a look here http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... =33&t=3467" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Contact OZtruck and ask him how he did it and if he has some drawings.

Hi Christian try this site for blueprints of the Centurian http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/tanks/tanks-c/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
you could also buy a 1/35 model and take the measurements of that and scale up.
