Armortek New A34 Comet

Post by Saxondog »

Hello All,I was following the post about TANK FEST @BOVINGTON and noticed on their site the Armortek link.Well when I opened the Armortek home page their was this announcement of a new tank, the A34 COMET.http://www.armortek.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.armortek.co.uk/html/vehicles ... omet1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; After reviewing details at their site I was a little bit shocked to see all kits sold out except the A34Comet. In a bad economy Armortek seems to be doing pretty good. Blake

Not exactly a surprise that the Comet kit is still available, it has been available from Mark-1 for over a year but not much interests from buyers

Yes it's new from "Armortek" but not new from "Mark-1 Tank" :P
I shipped my tank back from UK in a custom made wooden box.

Are you sure this is true? In my experience Mark 1 tanks 1/6th models are constructed of plastics and fiberglass and made in Russia. Armortek's are all metal kits.
best wishes,

What is true? the box, or Mark-1's Comet?
Your guess is partly right, Mark-1 tanks are made of thick and hard fibreglass and they have a Comet available:
