Initial production Tiger 1

Post by Abo »

Hi fella's, I'm about to start an initial tiger 1 conversion with side bins/early exhausts. I have two questions I hope someone can answer, firstly was this model only ever painted in Panzer grey? and secondly was this model ever fitted with the butterfly clips either side of the hull machinegun "bubble" to secure the canvas cover?

Many thanks

Abo.

Thanks for that Blake, again some great ref. material. Dunno if my security set up is over compensating though, its showing FIFTEEN security threats on that web site. Mind you its also showing one on here too and has done since before Christmas. On a different note, Just gotta collect my early bins conversion set from Militarymight on monday and I'm good to go.

Hi yes as in the other posts you are correct in what you say . I have got the modeling Tiger book and it covers the initial Tiger . And they are grey and have the fixings for the MG cover.
