close.
1)I keep the housing oriented in the normal fashion
2)add a small micro switch to continue motor travel
3)reverse the spring and add spring retaining pin
4) extend travel grooves inside the housing (don;t loose the little spring and washer or forget how they are placed)

My Jagdtpanther pics went missing. But you can find more pics in my Stug III build. I will also add some to the KT build.

Hi Rob nice job so far. If I remember correctly 971 wright ( Peter ) has done the HL recoil mod to get it running in the "right " way with fast recoil and slow return. I have fitted one of these to my KT and run it on test and to be honest the recoil action is a bit short for an 88mm. However our friend YHR over on RCU is working on increasing the stroke length on one of these units. He is talking of using the return ratchet from an airsoft unit and pinning some of the gears. Not seen a how to as yet though. Hope some of this is of use to you. All the best for now

Hi Rob after you have done the mod if you fit a resistor of 20ohms to the wire that goes to the battery neg it slows the recoil even more.

I know that someone has modified the BB gun to a slow recoil, and (maybe) it still shoots BB's...

Creeping Death:

This is the standard mod, but I add a voltage regulator to adjust the return to battery speed.
