Here are a few close up pics of how the Asiatam wheels connect to the control arms, Sorry i cant get any pics of the bearings but the hub caps are such a tight fit i cant get them off now but basically there is a bearing in each wheel and the shaft goes right through as shown below, into the control arm and secured with the grub screw.
That was what I thought about changing the control arms, same as my Tiger lower hull, set screw retain the asiatam axles which have a small flat spot on the end.One thing that is not stated is the stock H/L wheels will not work with the Asiatam axles, and the stock H/L axles will not work with the asiatam control arms. What I did was tapped the asiatam control arms so I could use shoulder bolts and run my stock wheels,my Tiger S13 is modeled after Grossdeutschlands Tiger S13 which were early model Tigers with rubber lined road wheels, would like the Asiatam early road wheels but they cost to much, but thankfully OZ has offered me a set of the stock wheels off his WSN Tiger which have rubber lined wheels from the factory, now my Jagdpanther will have to wait until I can afford the wheel set you have, they really look good.Have to give Asiatam credit their parts are top notch quality. Cheers for now,Blake
