Hello all

Post by 29th mp »

Hi All, my name is andy thankyou for allowing me to become part of this brilliant forum there are some realy talented members here , i live in south wales and collect 1/6th figures and have some 1/6th vehicles including 2 brit jeeps and a german kubelwagon i have close to 300 figures nearly half are vintage action men and marx knights and cowboys , also im a member of a ww2 reinactment group here in s/wales we do mainly us 29th inf and mp i acctually met some of the members here at cricklade railway back in the summer and bought a stug3 at the display tent ,

i started getting interested in 1/16th tanks about 18 months ago bought a heng long tiger , panzer 3 & 4 but sold them on to get some newer bits , i have a motarro king tiger , HL jagdpanther & stug3 and have just bought a mato sherman from canada i couldnt wait any longer for them to get here and the £ was haveing a good day against the $ that day so it wasnt overly expensive just hope the postman dont get stuck in the snow too much i would like to get it before the end of jan

anyway thats me i will post some pic's of me tanks as soon as i figure out how to do it

cheers andy

I am waiting for my Sherman to arrive as well according to the tracking no. its arrived at heathrow so just customs and the weather to stop me getting mine soon >:<

Hi Andy,
Welcome to the forum! Nice to see you've jumped in the deep end! :D I've started to get into 1/6 figures as well. I only have 2 at the moment, but i've got more planned. I've done 2 101st paratroopers, one in pre-jump gear. I just bought a parachute and want to try doing one in mid-jump. I'd love to see pics of your WWII figures.

If you need any help with your tanks everyone on here will be glad to help.
Cheers,
Rik
