Re: Allied tank transportation in the run up to D Day & after
Oz you're a legend mate. Thanks for all the emailed pics. I was looking through Modelzones stock of 1/72 & 1/76 kits today working out what I could use and how to fit it into the train layout
Looks like it'll need a marshalling area inland and a small dockside prehaps with a few Higgins boats and LCT's loading up on the water. Once it starts to take shape i'll post up some of my photos.

You aint gettin me on no plane fool!

your welcome mate,
i have a few more pics i can and send once i dig em up!!, i have one of a ramp made out of railway sleepers leading to a platform which is the hight of the flatcar and also made out of sleepers' the whole thing is bolted together and theres a couple of Churchill flail's sitting on the platform waiting to be loaded or just unloaded, the interesting thing is the platform must be at least a quarter of a mile long.
when i find it I'll Email it to you.......................cheers oz.

Now that was impressive but you'd think for $782,000 he'd spring for a couple more photos on the auction page?
