Looks Pucker, leave as it is, I like the factory finish look myself, thats what mine are done in plus itll get dirty enough when you drive it.

Where did you get the headlight from, looking to replace the one on mine witha more accurate version but cant find them anywhere.

Thanks guys. I'll dust him with the airbrush as soon as it's above freezing outside for a bit of dirt, but I keep my weathering fairly light since it gets dirty outside. The tracks are light gray from all the road salt and sand in my garage. :)

The headlight was an experiment that worked decently. I frosted some plastic packaging on both sides, then used a circle cutter to cut out the lens and outer frame. Painted frame green and inside of lens silver to hide the mess underneath. Used dremel and files to grind led and inside of light out. It was a pain and I wish someone would make an easy replacement.

On the work bench I currently have... Sturmtiger conversion from a HL Tiger 1 (75% completed). Stug3 just needs the weathering and stowage done. HL Tiger 1 almost finished converting to late model, needing last patch of zimmerit, painting & weathering. Bulldog in US Vietnam era needs stowage and weathering.

Its not the weather stopping me though, i like that used and abused weathered look. Im just crap and finishing one project before starting the next

another good trick for doing headlights is to mixe some fast setting clear epoxy and fill in the headlight it will give you a nice lense and when filled and hardened it will round over like a head lamp
then using a thine piece of tape mask over the lense where you want the slit for the light and paint ove it when dry remove the tape
