replacing muffler pipe (bulldog)

Post by fv432 »

heres an idea from mal over at hobby havoc for replacing the apu muffler hose on the bulldog

first get some net curtain wire

remove the white plastic covering

next get some house hold copper wire cable heavy duty 3 core

Image

cut the new piece to size and push the copper wire up the centre of the curtain wire

Image

offer it up and bend to shape the copper wire up the centre helps it to hold its shape

Image

remove the old plastic pipe and drill a 2mm hole in the muffler to accept the copper wire

the finished muffler pipe painted and fitted remember this will show the steel through just like the original and shouldnt need a heavy coat just a wash or drybrush will be good
