How many of the 100ml Tam cans...

Post by Sofapilot »

.. does it take to cover a tank, approximately?

Have just bought my first kit (Tam Pershing) and am sniffing about for paint.. have now discovered that Tam spray cans are like rocking horse poo. This place seems to have them available...

Alternatively, could I get some acrylic car paint from Halfords in roughly the right colour, or would that be a bad idea?

Thanks

You could always try Humbrol spray acrylics, they do a range of matt combat type colours, I have found Hycote acrylic primers to be really good, they do white, red oxide and grey as well as matt, satin and gloss black, try local motor factors. :D http://www.humbrol.com/search/?searchguid=2009121918538
p.s. if you bought a Pershing . . . cut off those track guards !! :haha:
