It's wet again. What to do ?

Post by tankman »

It's raining again so what shall I do ?. I'm stuck with both the Stug and KT projects ( awating upgrade parts ) so it's time to dust off the Tiger 1 again. I am converting this Tamiya Tiger to a late model, so far I have thickened the turret roof and added a KT style loaders hatch. Track hangers are in the process of being added to the turret sides. Rear deck is being converted to the late style. All mounting holes for tools, lights and air filters have been filled and scratch built turret protection ring added.
Now has anyone used Asiatam metal wheels with Tamiya wheel shafts as the Asiatam shafts are way to small to mount sucessfully on the Tamiya swinging arms, and I would like a little guidance here :haha:. There is NO way I am spending £ 100 + on any upgrade wheels. Here are a few pictures to be going on with. All the best for now

Hi Alan your tiger is coming along nicely mate now these shafts you are talking about I take it you mean they are too thin for the holes on the shafts what about using brass tubing you can gat them in almost all sizes you could then cut them into brass bushes you could even use 2 different sizes together hope this helps. :eh:
