Trumpeter 1/16 kit sprues

Post by grim_marmazet »

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I could get hold of seperate sprues and parts from the Trumpeter 1/16 King Tiger kit. I want to use a few internal sections to go under the engine hatch and radiator grills & the ammo racks in the turret, but I don't really want to pay £300 for the whole kit.

Cheers,
Rik

Thanks xrad, i've used Jason's store before, he's an excellent source of Tamiya partss. I'm after the internal parts though, namely the ammo racks and shells, the engine and engin bay door underside, and posibly a few bits to go under the other hatches if there was space. I don't want to spend £300 just for those bits though, so i'll have to try my hand at scratch building them.

That is unless anyone knows where I can get a 1/16 scalle King Tiger engine? And brass shells for the KT?

Cheers,

you can find the shells at several .com tank shops(tankzone, rccommand, welsh dragon) so that will save you some time.

Thanks for the pics 007, just what I needed.

The circled bits are the parts I want to recreate on my KT, just so there's stuff under the hatches. I think it'll add a nice touch, plus there's so much room in the KT! :D
