Do these raise the drive sprocket up a few mm? as I've read that the Matorro KT's drive sprocket is too low.

it also looks as though the buldge at the front can be got rid of or at worst reduced :D

The official Matomart king tiger ones are subtly different - longer motors and drive shafts. I would take a picture, but my camera batteries have just decided to go flat on me..

Pershing gearboxes at the top of the pic, Mato KingTiger gearboxes at the bottom (complete with ~ 1mm thick mounting plate)

Gear ratio's are identical, but the KT's motors are longer by about 5mm

interesting...mirror image gearboxes...

It would seem that with the 5mm extra motor overhang on the lower motor, the distance from the hull changes...but the overall placement of the outboard tip of the drive shaft is nearly identical...therefore, you could probably use the longer cans on the upper gearboxes and they would fit in the same space as the lower gearboxes...additionally, the torsional forces would be lessened on the upper gearbox output shaft due to driveshaft bearing placement ( in other words outer bearing to tip of diveshaft is shorter allowing for less leverage) :problem:
