part one of the bismarck build

Post by tiger205 »

hi all
here is the first installment of the 1/350 model of the bismarck, that i/m making for a friend, out of the box its what you expect from tamiya, a good quality model, what i like about it, is the one piece hull, it was designed with rc gear in mind, but this model is for display only.
i got to say, i'm not very up on model ship building, so i started at the beggining, and i will probably follow the instructions, what i have done so far is, put together the front deck, and rear deck assemblies, as well as the props, and rudders, theses all went together well, its what you expect from tamiya really. work on it has stopped for the moment, i am waiting for a PE set to come from W.E.M , gary(hd beast)put me on to them, they should be here soon, here are the pictures so far, hope you like them
