T34 v Tiger

Post by wibblywobbly »

For those of you that follow the game, the guys are now in the testing phase for the latest update. If I can remember to log into the 'secret server' I will join them and see what they have done. The plan is to create a You Tube channel for it, so work is being done on a video to generate interest.

This one is all that there is in the meantime, and includes the mods from the last update that was written.

Please note that the game can be picked up at a knockdown price if you can get hold of a copy, and that all the updates are free as they written by a bunch of guys in France who are as mad about the game as I am. This isn't just a shoot-em-up game, the tanks operate realistically, fire like a real one, use various shell types, have armour identical to a real one, and gun sights identical to a real one. The engines operate the same way, and overheat the same way etc etc etc

I love the game, its just great! One of those things I suppose. Playing online even with the standard version is a great experience.

If you want to know more about all of that just take a look at this area of the forum:

If there is anyone on here who wants a battle on Gameranger just send me a PM. 9pm GMT is probably the best time for me, but you need to make sure that you have your pc set up correctly before you attempt to play, the tips are on a website that I created. It may look complicated, but it is quite easy if you do one step at a time.

If you hit any problems I will be happy to help...until we are on the battlefield! :S

Cheers
