This might be old news. However I have found the easiet way to get that Vinyl Zim to really go on good is to use a 3M product called 377 Spray Adhesive. It is the same type adheasive used to glue down countertops.

Simply rough up the area for the zim to attach with 0000 steel wool. Then wipe down with some thinner. Once dry lay your bits of zim on a bit of newspaper with the pattern facing down. Now give it a light coat of the spray. Let it sit five minutes, then another light coat. Again wait five minutes. Now attach thezim on one edge and roll into position. Push out any bubbles with figners or a blunt flat blade. After about 1 hour the zim will be almost impossible to get off.
