A real T55 AM2

Post by tankman »

Hello guy's and girls thanks to my son Adam we have just spent a fantastic morning looking over a Russian T55 AM2. Even managed to get inside the thing. Never realised how small it is or how enclosed one feels. That said it was a great experince, and also very informaitive as the tank is FULLY operational. The owner Alex bought this tank back from Poland in order to set up tank school a buisness that allows "tankheads" a chance to actualy drive the tank. The link below will take you to his website which is well worth a visit and explains what it's all about ( my wife now knows what I want for my birthday :D :D :D )

I will be putting up some pictures tomorrow ( working tonight ). All the best for now

I say you guy's are lucky, the group rate breaks down to 90pounds per person for a group of 10 and that's for the best Tank experiance with five getting to drive.Sounds like time for a road trip to me.Sax

If anyone is intrested it might be worth a group of us getting together for one of these tankschool days and sorting out a battle with our smaller 1/16 stuff for the same day. What do you guy's think ?

I was thinking that tankman although saxondog mentioned all 10 people will be paying but only 5 will get to drive... which i suspect will cause all sorts of problems and handbag fights
