Coolbank has said that won't be the case. I just watched the Coolbank video. The Coolbank model doesn't have small return rollers like the Tongde version.

Coolbank has no return rollers.

And yep good to see British tanks getting more popular
Same here. The Coolbank prototype looked very detailed. But prototypes and production can be pretty different, so Tongde may be the winner. I'm playing that Carly Simon hit...

Good Evening,
The Tongde Churchill and Matilda will be up for Detail and Paint Builds sometime this year or the next. For the Matilda, I am considering WWII Service in Arras or the paint that the version wears at the Tank Museum in Bovington. I'll probably go for a Desert Scheme for the Churchill. I'm sure that the Coolbank Matilda will be more detailed than the Tongde in relation to Hatches, Fine Moldings, etc... But it may not offer the durable metal suspension and tracks that are a big Selling Point for me. At any rate, both are equally
excellent I am sure. ;0)
regards,
Painless

P.S.: No Kidding! I am very! very! happy! to finally add some WWII British Armor to my Collection. Next Up, Italian and Japanese hopefully!

I'll probably wait until the Coolbank come out and you guys have compared the pros and cons of each. If I get one I will probably do a Battle Of Stalingrad Soviet one

( Hee Hee, I got a 10th scale Wooden Crate for 1.00 added on in some kind of weird promo they were running. ;0)

Been a while, I need to post some photos of the projects I have done since the last one. Just lazy.

oh, interesting.. I thought Toucan would not have it for 90 days from what I was looking. everything shows it is a preorder via Toucan hobby site.

Mr. Rat!
I ordered this Matilda as an Xmas preset to myself (with the Blessing of the Spouse of course) on Dec. 20th. I saw the warnings on the Toucan Website about the Tanks not being available until late February at the earliest. I don't mind some anticipation so I went ahead and ordered. I was surprised to get it last month and have been happy with it. It is very Heng-Long like as far as materials and construction go. Being able to order a Version with the Metal Tracks and Running Gear\Suspension was a Plus.
