Heng long new metal recoil and slip ring TK7.1

Post by Docomar750 »

Hi

Before I strip it down again but a new 7.1 board in and changed out my Leo to 360 turntable the lastest Heng long metal recoil uses a servo with an micro switch on the body jumper in CN6 recoil works and sound but no track movement (maybe micro switch not being triggered. Also fitted barrel smoke and flash wired as best I can tell from instructions and yes the slip ring was advertised as 7.1 with DuPont connectors but no joy not activating on cannon shoot and no led working on machine gun.

Any one got any ideas how to make sure the slip ring wiring is correct as can’t find instructions anywhere?

Hello,
I don't think using a 360° electrical system affects the tracks; it affects the turret equipment more, such as the gun firing, elevation, turret machine gun, etc. Using a multimeter (with the power off), check the continuity of the various conductors by manually rotating them. Do you have enough conductors for everything? Also, be mindful of the current draw (amperes) of certain components, as this could damage a (very thin) trace inside the mechanism.

Question ?
CN 6 is the Trigger switch, which controls the flash when the cannon is fired. Your servo moves back correctly until it makes contact with this switch. If you operate it manually (or with a tool? Risk of puncture? Sometimes), does the flash work?
