Finally, finally I could finish this PITA project.
Almost anything seemed to fit, and when it finally did fit, the glue did not stick.
Damn, glad this disaster is done!

Such a cool little combo. One thin I have never understood was why it was called a Goliath. Considering it's purpose was to destroy much larger targets than itself wouldn't David have been more appropriate? Or would that have gone against Nazi ideology>

Re: NSU Kettenkrad with Goliath
I would guess that you used the Freedom kit for the Kettenrad. Bravo!
Does it roll? I worked on one in mid-2025, intending it not to be RC, but with the tracks free to roll (for me, even when not RC, a must, probably a childhood hold-over). I was pleased with the paint job and I got all the parts to fit satisfactorily with putty to fill in where neede). I even did some detail painting under magnification because of the relatively inaccessible controls and instrument panel. But the final assembly of the tracks, as modified, into the ultimate disaster--not to be remedied except with a second kit. I put it all into the box of--not shame--spare parts. C'est la vie.
