The Sturmtiger of Sturmmörser Kompanie 1002 found in April 1945 at Menden, Germany, is most like the Taigen/Torro version. I am not doing a "build" as I am so far outclassed by others here on RCTW that a "build: would be of no use. That doesn't bother me at all: this will simply be a paint job (may favorite part) for the fun of it, with a reworking of some of the tools.

These were my versions of the Ebendorf and Brumby Sturmtigers. I've always wanted to do the Menden one because it has more yellow and green. The Brumby one in those images I did for a fellow club member not sure about which one the guy posted his video on the thread was.

Finally today I have some masking putty to try on the Sturmtiger (see above). The CCKW is on hold pending headlights. Any day now (ahem) I can start to work on bows for the canvas. I do have a question (one of the "Various") as in the thread title.

Yesterday I dug out a HengLong M4 105 I have bought some time ago. I has HL TK6.0, probably the only 6.0 I have. I know I had checked it when it first arrived, but was busy then with another Sherman. But for fun I checked the charge in a 2S Lithium Ion (guessing that's what HL uses in the 6.0) and installed. The Sherman started up, but the sound and headlights pulsed regularly as if there was some kind of wave interference. I re-bound the Tx and Rx, but to no avail. Then I tried a different 2S Lithium Ion, also check for full charge. The same weird sound. So I tried an ol' Nickel-Metal Hydride, fully, freshly charged. Voila! The sound was fine; everything ran fine (in fact, I really do like the low speed control, even if the generic sound (the Tiger among the four options) makes me wince.

Has anyone had this strange sound phenomenon with a HengLong 6.0 on a 2S Lithium Ion?

No, haven't had that issue. I have had the Heng Long 2S Li-Ion batteries be bad straight out of the box though. I have 2 or 3 of them sitting in the recycle box with little to no use on them because my smart charger won't charge them.

Yes, tankme, nor does my charger like the HengLong 2S Li-Ion batteries. I have kept a few because I can use a safety bag and leave them overnight plugged into the slow charger that comes with a HengLong AFV. But this one HL 6.0 apparently does not like any Li-Ion 2S.
