recoil barrel problem

its not on a servo, it recoils with the bb firing mechanism with the piston and seal removed. i can get the barrel to recoil and light up but no smoke and tank does not recoil or if i press the righthand top silver button an the G button the barrel will not recoil but i get the light and barrel smoke with the tank recoiling.

So you are pressing B (upper right silver button) + G, which turns airsoft (CN10) on and off, which means the plunger and thus barrel won’t recoil if this is set to off

So you are talking about gun barrel smoke. How are you turning barrel smoke on/off? Also with B + G?

It sounds like whoever installed this did it in such a way that you can either have Airsoft and gun recoil OR barrel smoke and tank recoil.

Looks like you did the installation yourself. Can you take some pictures of the wiring and the mod and/or link the web page for the mod you installed?

The "WiFi" port "CN5" is what is suggested for the barrel smoke so turning it on and off is button combo G+S. EDITED.

Yes but in the manual G + B is “BB bullets launching switch” which I’m guessing is the Airsoft plunger motor CN10

G + S is “Wi-Fi switch ON/OFF” which is CN5, which where the module should be plugged into, but he said he’s pressing G + B. Tank body recoil is K + S, which it doesn’t look like that’s getting pressed here.

It’s weird that for him it appears as though G + B switches between Airsoft & gun recoil and smoke & chassis recoil. Almost seems purposeful to me.

I only know this because I saved a cheat sheet on my phone. I can never remember what all the different button combinations do.
