Haha, I'm not that small I would say, I'm about 5,9' or 182 CM, but the danged Big Cats are Big
💪🐯!
I remember when I first visited I was surprised how 2 German Medium Tanks could be so different in overall external size,
I rated the Panzer 4 and the M4 Sherman as what I expected a Medium Tank to look BUT the Panzer 5 Panther was much closer to the size of a Heavy Tank.
Yeah I remember learning from history that Panther was overweight for classified 'Medium' tanks and as far as I remember Europeans and Americans referenced to it as a Heavy tank :D

VVhitesnake, thanks for the pix! Were you there on a TankFest day? I see that Tiger 131 is outdoors, yet you are able to go up next to it... can you interact with it on a rday when it runs for the crowd? Will need to decide what time of year to plan a trip
Hey man :)!

I believe it was the Tankfest, I'm pretty sure we went there in July/August :)! As far as I remember, Most of the tanks were outside and the running ones were rolling about, I think to some degree we were able to interact. I actually was so cheeky that I sat in a Kubelwagen cause the doors were open and no one was there while my friend took a pic of me, lol I didn't even realize back then, but my mate said that the guy who owned the Kubelwagen was not very impressed from the looks he was giving when he saw me sit in it 🤣! So yeah, it's been a while, can't imagine what they get up to now, I would like to see the King Tiger P running once they restore it :)!

P.S Could not resist so dropping more photos 🤣!

What great travel you have enjoyed! Thank you for posting the photos. Sometimes I wonder if the eggs-perts here on RCTW with the super skills I envy are really just supercomputers attached to all kinds of delicate machinery, so it's good to see that you are human. In fact, it looks as if the leg-folding you had to do to fit in that Kübelwagen is about as difficult as fitting in a Jeep.
