Heng Long TK 7.0 vs TK 6.0/6.1 - sound comparison
Re: Heng Long TK 7.0 vs TK 6.0/6.1 - sound comparison
As far as I know the TK7.0/7.1 come programmed with either a Tiger I/T 90 sound set or an Abrams/Leopard 2A6 sound set. I can’t see them going out of their way to program a new sound set for a model that has been out for a long time.

Hi,
@tankme, I have seen lots of vids on YT that Heng Long King Tigers on v7.0 at least come with an actual Tiger sound, one of the 2 options has the Tiger sound I believe as it does not sound like Leopard or Abrams.

The stock Heng Long 7.0 & 7.1 boards come with one of two "twin-packs" for sound: Tiger + T90, or Leopard + Abrams... you can switch the individual sounds via the transmitter. The stock Tiger sound is also used for the King Tiger, since that's actually what was recorded; the same Maybach HL 230 engine was used in both tanks after 210's were used up. You know the T90 sound from the 'hooter' that starts it up. If you see a King Tiger with different sound on YouTube it's usually because they've changed out the original board for a Clark, IBU, Beier, ASP etc, or added a sound unit like a Benedini

OK I see, thanks for explaining! Well I hope mine arrives with the Tiger sounds
For reference, I was watching this video where the KT was sounding more like a Tiger I believe, unless this is the T-90 sound?! I will double check that...

I've just compared the T-90 sounds and the KT sound in my above video and they sound distinctly different. Well, that's good to know for me haha

Yes, that's the Heng Long TK7 "Tiger" / "King Tiger" sound in that video.
