Hope you enjoy retirement and keeping the whisky industry in business.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully a mild hangover.

Re: Modelling ruined at a stroke
To day I did the very last thing at work. I had the privilege of playing Santa. Managed to borrow an Old Ford Tractor. One of the residents loves tractors (he wasn’t impressed it was a Ford) and arrived at the home dressed as Santa. Sadly we have lost a few this year, and some new residents have arrived. It was a lot of fun, and as the residents are older, you can get away with a lot more mischief, and rudeness.
I will try for some pictures when they are sent to me.
I do want to say, thank you for all the retirement congratulations, and every one who has been concerned about my health.
I wish to thank you all.

You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.

Posting these just for fun, and at the request of HDP. Playing Santa. The gentleman is ex REME. Between us we have gotten into bother on the odd occasion. Especially with model tanks, and the odd dram. Two for Mr ChefHerr Dr. Professor wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 4:22 pm "I will try for some pictures when they are sent to me." Oh, yes, please!, Ian. After such a scary end to the year for you how great it is for you to show such generosity of spirit to others,
Quite humbling and so in keeping with the time of year,
Proud to know you and your lady are a part of this forum.
