So no we have the wheels and swing arm test fit. The gearboxes still need a little fine tuning, servos are in exhaust is also test fit.
I’m not happy with how much the bold heads stick out so the will be replaced with some better ones but otherwise I think it’s looking ok

Yeah that’s cool.
Poor little thing, looks like a Palm tree would wreck it !! Let alone a Sherman or T35/85!

Re: Welcome to the nightmare
Indeed mr bix some of the things this had to face down it didn’t stand a chance wether it would be the Sherman of the Americans the t34 of the Chinese or the Matilda of the Australians I doubt it was ever a match for anything it met other than infantry and assuming it could get close enough field guns. But it is the only wwII Japanese tank I have come across so it does need to be built and then sent to my dads axis collection

A superb model, which is smooth running. It does look like a kid with a peashooter would open it up.
You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.

Re: Welcome to the nightmare
Given this is printed in abs resin it’s a tough little thing. Tougher than the real one maybe. When I open the gearboxes back up I will photo the inside. There are no instructions so they would help anyone thinking of doing one
