Nice winter project. My favourite Tamiya kit. Just one tip as it's one of the first things you assemble is to reinforce the glacis under where the shovel goes as it is unlike the HL and Taigen models fixed in place as the top covers the gearboxes eventually and is a bugger to get at once you press too hard with your thumb and it bends in. Easily pulled up but if I knew what i know now I would have reinforced it with some Evergreen sheet which I did when i tore it down and rebuilt it. Also if it's your first Tamiya the instructions are poor as regards the torsion bar/suspension arm assembly. Best to come here when you get to those as their is a trick to it which requires a slight tap with a small hammer/screwdriver handle

I will soak up ALL advice and suggestions like a sponge as this is uncharted territory. It's an adventure that I am very excited to explore.

I'm still taking all suggestions for radio transmitters. Keeping in mind the next slippery slope of potential swapping to a new control board. I've read alot and though Clark seems to be the more common, I very much like the idea of a Beier unit.
