Hey guys,
Just expanding my tank collection.
Now I’ve got one more empty Shelf space for one last tank. And the decision to get another Heng Long Tank. But the choices I get is the British Challenger 2, USA M1A2 Abrams or China Type 99A?
And here’s the tank shelf as it today. Along with newly acquired Merkava Tank.

Buy more shelves, and buy all three. The type 99 is unknown to me, but I love the Challenger, (I’m biased) and I like the Abrams.
You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.

"Now I’ve got one more empty Shelf space for one last tank." So who needs shelves? So who needs clothing? So who needs food?
Thank you for posting the photos. I do like seeing other's nicely displayed shelf loads, especially since my shelves, closets, floor and more seemed full thirty years ago, but somehow just keep growing.

The ZTZ-99, the ZTZ-99A, and other new HL ZTZ-99A are referred to as Type-98 (original HL ZTZ-99 release), Type-99 (the HL ZTZ-99A with ERA), and Type-99A (latest new HL ZTZ-99A) tanks in China. Heng Long kinda screwed up the naming convention of the tanks misnaming them.

Yeah, that's why I explained that Heng Long named them wrong. What they named the 99A is not a 99A. It's a 99. The new 99A that Heng Long released is an actual 99A.brucektrain wrote: ↑Tue Dec 23, 2025 3:38 amActually it's Type-99A.tankme wrote: ↑Mon Dec 22, 2025 8:41 pm
